Financial support is provided for children and youth in care. Including Room and Board, clothing allowances, child care, transportation, school related expenses, camp fees, damage or loss of property and miscellaneous expenses. More information about financial supports can be found here.

Resources for Adoption

Rockland County is mandated to support the certification of families with the only wish for adoption. These families are referred to the National adoption website: AdoptUsKids.org

myBenefits is an online tool for New York State residents. Users can check possible eligibility for multiple human services benefit programs; apply online for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP); recertify for SNAP or Temporary Assistance; Report Changes; and View Case Details.
